About me: Jean-Baptiste Simon is a French architect coming from l’ENSA Versailles. Having obtained a Masters Degree with honors from ENSA-Versailles, he worked for Serero Architectes, where he designed the Médiathèque Marin Marie and a few national competitions. He then moved to Beijing for a full time position at Chiasmus following a year with AS. Architecture Studio, where he led the design or the development of multiple projects such as the China Philharmonic and The Blue Note Jazz Club in Beijing and a kindergarten in Jinan. After Asia, he returned to the US to work for Studio Link Arc where he took part of the development of the Dachong School as well as the CR Land Archive Library. He currently works with SOMA as their head of design.
