Located in Lower Manhattan, this Soho properties project created several challenges for the design of a residential tower – namely, a small footprint, a narrow street, and the height of the surrounding buildings. After extensive zoning analysis, it was apparent that there were distinct potential opportunities despite the challenges of a small mid-block site. Directly north of the site is the Tribeca Historic District height restricted zone. Once above the rear neighbor, the tower has unencumbered views of Manhattan to the north and extensive views of the World Trade Center to the south.
