In accordance to the District O master plan proposal, The Portal is brought forward as the main entrance for the development of the southern Island that was designed to include a Members Club and a Beach Club Hence, it will be considered as the main articulation in the development of the whole model on one side, but also as a key element in the conception of the exclusive Members Club and the semi public Beach Club.

Therefore, a significant portion of the traffic conveying towards the City Beach, whether pedestrian or vehicular is expected to go through The Portal. Consequently, Plot 1 and the South Island are designed as complementary units that will fulfill the expectations and exclusiveness of the Members Club users’, while allowing for an impressive Grand Entrance to the whole district. Conceived to cater for Dubai’s high society, the Members Club is inspired by renowned Private Clubs from around the world and imagined to match the utmost luxurious and exclusive private clubs and yacht clubs.
